When configuring the Active Directory node in AssetWise System Management Console to allow for the automatic creation of persons in the community with Windows accounts (whether being created through a synchronization or when users attempt to log in), part of the configuration process involves selecting which person template you want AssetWise to use when auto-creating these persons. Therefore, to complete the configuration in AssetWise System Management Console, at least one person template must already exist in the community, and its Status must be set to Approved. The new persons will inherit the permissions set for the person template. If you need to create a new person template, make sure you create it within the Global scope.
